Composing messages with Eudora Light
DRAFTING EMAIL OFFLINE WITH EUDORA LIGHT
STEP 1.
If you do not already have the Eudora Light program - get it by clicking here.
STEP 2.
Install and configure the Eudora
program. For Help Go to http://www.eudora.com/products/eudora/download/
and download the Windows Quick Start Guide or the Users Manual PDF files.
STEP 3.
When the Eudora Light program is running and you are online go to the menu
Special ==> Settings ==> Checking Mail. These Menu Items can be found on
the main menu bar in Eudora.
STEP 4.
In the option second from the top where you can specify a timed check mail
factor set this to zero(0). Setting this to zero will tell the Eudora program
not to automatically check for mail when you start the program. Press the OK
button to save these changes.
DRAFTING MAIL OFFLINE
STEP 1.
Make sure you have done steps 1 to 4 above.
STEP 2.
Do not dial in !!!
STEP 3.
Start Eudora then start a new message by Message ==> New Message Menu, as you
normally would. Finish your email but do not press SEND.
STEP 4.
Go to Message ==> Change ==> Queuing and select Next Time Queued Messages
are Sent. The message will be placed in your Out Mail Box with a Q beside it to
indicate that it is waiting to go.

SENDING QUEUED MESSAGES
STEP 1.
Dial into Saferinternet.
STEP 2.
Start Eudora and Select File ==> Send Queued Messages. This will send all
queued messages.
STEP 3.
Disconnect from Saferinternet or start browsing.
