Netscape 2&3 Setup
Configuring Netscape Navigator 2 and 3 for email
Select the Mail and News Preferences from under the Options menu. Select the
Servers tab to complete the information below. Netscape from version 2.0 on has
a built in Mail Program and News Reader. Once the correct configuration has been
loaded into Netscape you can use it to send/receive email or read news.

The fields you should complete here are Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server, Incoming
Mail (POP) Server, POP User Name (This is your username - NOT your email
address), and a little further down the News (NNTP) Server. For the rest of
these option the installed defaults should be left in place.
Next select the Identity tab.

This is where is you set up all of your personal details. Your Name is YOUR
NAME, Your Email is loginname@#PV Domain# and your Reply-to-Address
should be YOUR email address. The Your Organization field can contain anything
you please - SE Net is not a bad start though. If all of these options are not
configured correctly some parts of Netscape may not function correctly.

If you want the Netscape Mail Reader to Remember your Mail Password check the
box in Remember Mail Password.
Press the OK button and its all finished and setup for checking mail.
